Day 41 & 42 - Kenpo X - Rest

I did my Kenpo X today to catch up for the week. I started using a heart rate monitor and I found for this exercise in particular it helps you to know if you need to get more intense or push yourself more in the "downtime" when Tony gets jumping jack happy and you do the silly X jack thing.

This routine I think is actually got to help you learn the proper form for throwing a punch and doing blocks. Not its not as good as taking ju jitsu or karate lessons but at least you can learn by watching the correct form.

The marine dude in the routine in particular has excellent form so he is good to mimic. I found that I was getting into the 14o zone in the heart rate most of the time at the end of each move. Especially the ones that involved using the entire body. Upper and lower body.

I didn't have a break day so I am going to go right into the weight routine tomorrow.
