Using my heart rate monitor I noticed that I was getting into the 170s here and there for some of the exercises. I assume that is safe for someone my age... I think my goal range should be in the 160s... i was 150-160 most of the time.
I am really flushed now that workout is over. I am going to shower and then try my new mix for recovery drinks. It is the EAS chocolate flavored whey protein. I have been told good things about it and hopefully it won't taste any worse than the Slimfast Optima.
I will let you know if it is bad.
