I got through most of the routines doing my normal 8-10 reps and trying to max out where possible. I did most of the items with the blue resistance bands with a loop in some cases where necessary.
I really need to get more small plates for my free weights. buying a bunch of the hex weights would be expensive.. so just getting a few more plates to make the typical size of my free weights a little bit heavier might be helpful. Not just for this routine, but for the others as well.
The floor-flys (and side to side push ups) are great. They really work you all over and you have to real dig down to get through 8+ of them.. It is sort of like the corn cobs in the back and bicep routine (both those are harder).
I have been sticking with my Slim Fast Optima and a banana as my recovery drink of choice. It seems to be working as I have not been amazingly sore recently.
We will see if I can keep up with the workouts this week and not get behind so I have my scheduled day off on Monday. I might mix it up and do my off day on Wednesday from now on though since my wife's uncle visits those nights.
